Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year!

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is committed to excellence within the School Resource Officer (SRO) program. In the last year, the SRO program has promoted the National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO) Triad Model as a framework to measure activities and performances of officers. The three roles – Educator, Counselor and Law Enforcement Officer – exemplify a comprehensive approach to managing the safety and security concerns within the school environment.

This online course is structured to explain an overview of the NASRO Triad Model and how the RCSD Interaction Form measures these roles and activities for the program.
