To successfully litigate about MV crash investigation and reconstruction it is essential that an attorney understands and can explain to a jury in “plain speak” what has been done.  This means that the attorney must be comfortable with the language an expert witness may use, and also be able to listen to opposing expert’s testimony.  This requires a basic understanding of the scientific foundation for accident reconstruction testimony.

The presenter discusses Newton’s Laws, acceleration, kinetic energy, and other scientific concepts, with numerous examples and analogies that enable the attorney to better understand and explain those concepts through the testimony of his/her witnesses.
