Bill Reilly

Assistant Chief (Ret.) Bill Reilly served 21 years with the Hartford (CT) Police Department (400+ sworn) where he achieved the distinction of being the only member of that department to ever be promoted in the #1 position for sergeant, lieutenant, captain, and assistant chief after competitive testing. Each level of testing involved either an oral board or an assessment center.

Bill is a State of Connecticut certified police instructor in the area of Leadership and he has delivered training programs to thousands of police professionals throughout the United States. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business, a master’s degree in communication, and has served as an adjunct professor.
