Christopher Dotson

Officer C.W. Dotson possesses two decades of law enforcement experience. He graduated from the Galveston Community College Police Academy in September, 1995 and immediately began his career in law enforcement at the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy/Jailer and Special Operations Response Team (SORT) Member. In 1996, Officer Dotson expanded his law enforcement career into the realm of the educational environment working for Texas Southern University’s Department of Public Safety earning the rank of Sergeant. In September 2000, Officer Dotson entered into School District Policing working for Houston ISD Police Department where he worked in Campus, Patrol and Field Training Divisions recieving various commendations and awards.

January 2013 Officer Dotson joined the Spring ISD Police Department and was immediately thrusted into service by assisting both Harris County Sheriff’s Office Gang Division and Houston Police Department NW Gang Division in the identification of gang
