Troy Hanson
I am a police officer with the Fargo Police Department in North Dakota. Currently I am a detective assigned to the adult violent crime division. I have worked for the Fargo PD since 2012. I have over 1000 hours of ND POST certified training. I have completed specialized training in a variety of areas to include Shooting Incident Reconstruction (40 hours), Interview and Interrogation (40 hour course), and basic CSI procedures. I am also certified Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) instructor, and have been coaching new CIT officers since 2015. Prior to working for the Fargo Police Department I worked for the Red River Regional Dispatch Center as a 911 operator. I was also employed with the Morton County Sheriff Department in ND. I have a bachelor of science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Dakota. I also graduated from the Lake Region Peace Officer Academy in North Dakota.
