This course is designed to prepare US military special operations, military intelligence, private military contractors, and law enforcement personnel for missions in support of human intelligence (HUMINT) operations in hostile environments and will provide students with a practical understanding of HUMINT methodology and tradecraft in accordance with the Intelligence Community Directives and Intelligence Community Policy Memorandums. Significant emphasis is placed on the practical application of HUMINT methodology.

This e-learning course is designed to serve as preparation for and work in conjunction with our intensive 14-day residential program which utilizes a combination of lectures and realistic scenario-based field training exercises and is designed to prepare students to conduct HUMINT missions tasks in as efficient and effective manner as possible. This goal-oriented course utilizes contemporary adult-learning principles, experiential learning, and regular evaluations to develop useful, relevant fundamental and operational skills that will allow students to support HUMINT operations in complex hostile environments.
