This course is designed to help law enforcement officers detect deception through accurate analysis of body language and non-verbal indicators. Developing the ability to recognize and read body language helps officers conduct more effective interviews, assists in the development of interrogation strategies, and increases safety in all interactions. Through videos, presentations, case studies, and exercises, the course will examine each of the following areas:
- Behavioral Indicators: body language, emotions, and non-verbal clues
- Statement Indicators: verbal clues
- Physiological Indicators: micro-expressions and neurolinguistic programming
This course is specifically for police officers, and should be considered an advanced and intensive experience. Once you complete the course, you will be better able to recognize others’ body language and determine if they are being deceptive.
