I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I was a member of the Los Angeles Police Department where my career spanned 32 years, 20 of those working gangs. I have also been training other law enforcement officers on gangs since 1982.
During my career, I have come into contact with a countless number of teenagers, young adults and gang members and I have been able to experience first-hand what works and what doesn’t. I share my knowledge and experience with you in the hopes of making you more effective in your dealings with gangs.
